The BBPA Academy is a two-year graduate programme offering hands-on experience across the pubs and brewing industry, and at Greene King you’ll be right at the heart of it. Across four six-month rotations you’ll gain real exposure to key areas of our business through on-the-job learning, technical training, workshops and development sessions.
Your experience could span brewing, pub operations, finance, people, marketing or sustainability, giving you a rounded understanding of how a modern pub company works. Greene King is proud to be one of the lead partners in the programme alongside other national and regional brewers, and graduates can express a clear preference to join us. Starting September 2026, it’s open to final-year students, recent graduates and degree apprentices from any discipline. Hospitality or retail experience helps but isn’t essential. Successful candidates receive a two-year fixed-term contract, a competitive salary around £30k, 25 days holiday and benefits. Applications close Sunday 11 January 2026.
